    Bookmarker's Notes

It is an excellent work because the interaction between the protagonist and Pangzi is vividly depicted. Their shenanigan toward the old-age Ping is also good fun for me. Their life seems so realistic to me.

I suppose the goat or the sheep would probably play a part in detecting something unusual following some kind of traditions.

What did the neighbour go? Was it caused by the plate? Will Zhang detect their house again to judge the situation?

Will Xiaohua therefore go along with them if they need to explore strange places caused by the disappearance of their neighbour?

How will the relationship develop? How to arrange a convincing threesome? Actually I didn't expect anything interesting considering the tags, yet I have to admit your marvelous descriptions on the interactions in the first chapter changed my mind immediately.

    ---

It is my great fortune to be able to read your work, yet I felt it a bit boring like an account book albeit the form of detective, as no thrilling suspense or characters' interactions happened.

The only bizarre thing was the resuscitation of the neighbor, but that didn't catch my attention too long as well.

Basically, I could not sense the danger faced by the protagonists, or the development of their relationship. Maybe the plot and characters' tension would be better if you could add some really tricky challenges or annoying antagonists to the protagonists on their way to find the truth.

    ---

I like how Zhang sensed Wu's abnormality but kept it silent so as to gain the opportunity to go along with Wu. I also like how Xie sensed Wu's abnormality and intentionally proposed to insert into the team. The dynamic is fabulous and I like it particularly!

So if you don't want to change too much the plots, maybe the idea of creating similar plots that Xie will subtly and secretly compete with Zhang for Wu's favor would be a good choice.
