Summary
Takes place a year after the events of ME3.
Eir is a quiet planet. Located in the Valhallan Threshold, the planet is a garden planet with vast coasts. Perfect for retirement. Funnily enough, it's a hotspot for just that, as a retired salarian scientist, Alliance Navy Captain, and turian General end up at the same beachside colony.
Retirement doesn't come easy, though. Where they go, trouble follows.

Summary
“Another Dark Jedi! Get to the escape pods, I’ll hold him off!”
Ulgo didn’t wait for her to respond. He rushed on ahead and roughly shoved the Dark Jedi back with one hand before slamming said hand against a button on the wall. The door came down and slammed shut behind him. Shepard heard a click, as if the door had been locked behind hi— oh shit. Oh no he fucking didn’t. Did he?
“Ulgo, are you crazy?! Open this fucking door! Now!”
She rushed towards the door and tried to open it.
“Access denied.” A stiff digital voice, probably the ship’s computer, told her. “Override codes required.”
“Fuck you,” Shepard muttered. She heard the same fwoom, fwoom and scraping metal-like sounds. Ulgo was holding his own, but for how long?
He ran in there, clearly with the intent of sacrificing himself for her.
It left an uncomfortable, swirling pit in her stomach. She felt rooted to the spot, unable to leave because she felt that if she did, she would be abandoning him. If only she had her omni-tool— maybe she could have hacked into the door’s computer and open it that way.
All she could do was listen to the sounds of fighting.

“Shepard still hasn’t been found?”
“No, sir.” The woman said as she shook her head, eyes pointed at the floor. “However, when the Admiral’s body was discovered, they found him wearing the Commander’s dog tags.”
“But no other signs of her.”
“No, sir. The team assumed that he had already had them from-” The woman shifted, looking uncomfortable. “From when the Commander disappeared three years ago. But they ruled that out.”
“Why?”
“Because his were missing, sir.”

Summary
John Shepard floated aimlessly from thought to thought through the endless miasma that was his mind. It always started with those whispers tickling at his subconscious, just a little too far away to make sense of. Then there would be a gradual pull like a steady current. But today felt unlike any time before. The whispers were growing louder and more urgent. That insistence clawed at him and yanked him clear out the deep. She was always there when he broke the surface, a stranger with a face as familiar as his own, and this time was no different in that regard.

Summary
"Keelah." The quarian doesn't say the word so much as breathe it out, pressing a gloved hand to her visor. She speaks again, her voice soft and familiar. "Shepard. It's Tali."
It's not just the words and voice—but also the quarian's tones and inflections and the slight tilt in her head—it reminds Shepard of another time of dark cold shadows and fear, but also of an arm around her shoulder and a dim knowledge that she was not alone. But...
"Not Tali," she says. "It's...wrong."
Three long months after the activation of the Crucible, after the blue wave of energy that carried with it the command for every Reaper to self-destruct, the Normandy receives some news that none of them had been truly expecting to hear:
"Shepard-Commander's platform was not destroyed."
