Summary
You've been with Gabrielle, your Maker, for almost forty years, and you understand that sometimes she likes a few months to travel alone. Your agreement is that she will always find you another coven of vampires to stay with, so that she isn't leaving you to loneliness. The year is 2022, and Gabrielle feels the call of solitude: you've only met Louis and Armand once in the 90s, but they agree to keep an eye on you while Gabrielle is away. Surely this visit will have no consequences.
