Summary
Years after HaloVector’s first collapse, the company returns to the market in triumph. Its relisted shares surge, its founder is worshipped online, and its long-delayed intelligence platform—renamed again and again to follow social trends—promises nothing less than the abolition of human uncertainty. Behind the spectacle, the economy is failing, public institutions are hollowed out, and most online debate consists of artificial agents persuading other artificial agents that HaloVector is valuable. Then the stock crashes.
