Lohen returns from the Nod-Krai expedition expecting nothing more eventful than mail runs and mischief. Instead, a routine errand outside Mondstadt ends with him vanishing, dragged into the hands of Il Dottore for reasons that have nothing to do with mercy and everything to do with curiosity.
Six months pass. The Knights of Favonius never stop looking.
When they finally find him, he's alive. That's the only mercy they get.
The reckless, teasing vice captain who filled every room with noise is gone.

Lohen falling in love with Varka wasn't something he had ever seen coming.
Coughing flowers up because the man in question didn't love him back? Even less so.
If there was one thing he knew for certain, it was that no one could know about the cecilias in his lungs, and certainly not Varka. Sneak out, fight monsters, avoid the reason behind the flowers... it seemed easy.
Somehow, he managed to mess up something that should have been so simple. In hindsight... he should have known better.

Because there's no way I'm gonna let you get away after everything we've been through," Lohen laughed, his face pulled into an adoring, boyish smirk, as he escorted her towards the flower fields, his turquoise bangs dancing in the dandelion-scented breeze. The gentle hold he had on her palm, the warmness of the sunset painting his shoulders, and the wild, unrestrained freedom he had, more so than the fae could predict, with how much their fates had been so closely intertwined together.
In that moment, Linnea's eyes widened before she indignantly pouted, her wings vigorously flapping in response. "Hmph, quit teasing me! This better not be another setup for a surprise monster ambush, you hear?" she exclaimed, nearly tripping over her feet as the two of them landed amid the Windrest Flowers, with the latter gripping her torso in their sudden descent.
With both their cheeks in a heated flush, Linnea quickly looked away until the knight slyly teased, "Weren't angels supposed to fall from the sky?" with a mischievous look, eliciting futile punches from the flustered girl.
"You big meanie...!"

Jean’s life is centered around one family motto: For Mondstadt, as always. Being the Acting Grandmaster and managing the entire nation was never a part of her plan, but sacrificing everything you have for your country sometimes means sitting in the office all day. It’s not the adventurous life of an elemental knight that she planned, but it’s what her country is asking of her now. At the very least, it keeps her inside, far away from anywhere she could bump into Diluc after his return.
Diluc has no reason to do anything for Mondstadt ever again. After years away from his home, he doesn’t have to be out every night, protecting the general public, defeating odd monsters, sniffing out conspiracy plans, and taking on the unfortunate moniker of the fire-slinging “Darknight Hero” (cringe), but he does it anyway. He and Jean aren’t kids anymore, and they’re certainly not friends anymore, but he’s moved on from his past life. Nothing from that time is going to bother him again (or at least, that’s what he’s telling himself).
The mystery in Mondstadt when Jean and Diluc end up together, non-linear with events of their past.

Summary
The knights of Favonius are in an expedition in nod-krai as an aftermath with Rerin's fight. As in consequence, Lohen goes too but he is definitely a menace in there and doesn't follow the rules his grand master gave him.
So he went to kill wild hunt without the lightkeepers knowing he was there to help, the voices don't help and sent him almost berserk. A certain captain finds him, pins him in the ground and argue with him as some other ratniki were there with the alpha. They think he is a beta because he was wearing scent blockers.
Without realizing, Lohen falls in love with this type of behavior from a certain captain, Illuga.
