Your brother is now enrolled in kindergarten, where he quickly befriends a girl named Missy, unaware that her parents wouldn't ignore what was (supposedly) going on at home. At first, they assumed the occasional presence of you in situations where the father should be involved was a teenager helping out. But as you repeatedly show up in place of a missing parent, Missy’s parents start to take notice.

The humans on Beach City carried around little ones like this, like you, all the time, and almost always got frantic whenever they lost track of them. To leave something so weak and vulnerable on its own was clearly frowned upon, and for very good reason. It was more than evident to the Gem that something this small and helpless could not defend itself from threats or dangers of any sort, so it was little wonder that humans were so fussed about keeping them safe. Even without utilizing any sort of future vision, Garnet could think of a hundred different things that could fell such a fragile thing.

"That I am." The computer voice managed to sound the tiniest bit proud of that fact, despite the tonelessness to the voice. "Is Nightwing still there?"
You glanced up at the rooftop again, then winced as the sound of a gunshot rang out. "Uh… Jay's chasing him across a rooftop right now." You frowned. "Jay wouldn't actually hurt him, would he? Because I definitely heard a gunshot, but I can also hear Nightwing laughing even from here."
"Hood has rubber bullets in his guns. Nightwing might get a pretty nasty bruise, but he should be fine." Oracle paused for a beat. "He should have rubber bullets, at least. One moment." The line went completely silent for a few seconds before Oracle spoke again. "He has rubber bullets. They'll both be fine."

Dr. Strange closes his eyes, holding a hand to his chest as he tries to control his rapid breathing. He begins seeing choppy visions of a girl stuck under rubble. He couldn't tell if she was on earth or some other planet, but it was neither his concern nor his priority. He furrowed his brows, tensing his body to try and keep the visions stable. The girl was crying, trying to scream out for help, but to no avail as her throat was hoarse and dry from the abuse of the scorching hot rubble on her back.
His vision grew blurry, but soon he was taken to a scene where her fingers began to glow brightly, turning white from the sheer energy coursing through her veins. Slowly, her body began to glow the same color as the rubble around her began to melt, her body trembled and shuddered, her clothing beginning to scorch at the edges. She raised her head, and Strange felt as though he were staring directly at her.
He understood well what that meant.
