Joined in love, our Warriors of Light - Joshua Ward, Symkar Tsukasa, Hikaru Shinta, Makoto Kuzunoha, and Lamia Daerva - find themselves enjoying a rare time of peace. The Republic of Ishgard, now a proud member of the Eorzean Alliance, is slowly embracing change, and walks towards a better future hand-in-talon with Dravania.
Part V of "Armistice Elegies", a full retelling of FF14 from the POV of a polycule of Warriors of Light and Darkness. Ysayle and Haurchefant did not die in our version of the story, and neither will Regula van Hydrus. The first chapter is a rundown of the cast of Armistice Elegies, in case you needed a refresher.
Spoilers apply for the entirety of FF14 with liberal references to SHB and EW. Our WoL!ycule exists because there were three Azems after Venat: one murdered before the End of Days, another killed defending Amaurot, and another near corrupted by a Blasphemy before the Sundering. Their fourth was a familiar who loved them all. This retelling is canon-divergent; some major characters live rather than die, and it features a number of OCs. It also integrates content from the optional raids and story arcs.

Please envision the Warriors of Darkness, newly brought to the Source after the Flood of Light meant they were in a situation where their only hope is an Ascian offering to help them via ritual suicide. They know Cylva was a traitor. Everyone they knew is probably going to die, and soon. They trust Elidibus as far as they can throw him, and as far as they know, Urianger is his loyal lackey. They just had the worst day of their lives, and Elidibus would very much like to help them, especially as he is a primal of salvation. There are limits to his ability to reassure them, though, and everyone here is extremely wary of Ascians.
Luckily, he has creation magic, which means he has very good weed.

This is a right mess, but this was a little something I've been working on for quite some time. This is a role swap au of Shadowbringers, where the "Source" as we know it is referred to as the "First". There is an underlying theme of soulmates in this one, but I don't want to spoil it by explaining~

There are previous deaths mentioned in this from earlier patches. Each chapter will have half in Yesui's (the WoL) point of view, and half in Ardbert's point of view.
I really picked this up to actually get to experience writing Shadowbringers if Ardbert's group got to experience it in the stead of the WoL and the Scions, but it all takes place on what we know of as the source, so there is a lot of experimenting in this one.

This is a role reversal I've been working on since my second playthrough of Shadowbringers, and let me just say- it has been *painful* to write it. In this; the Source is Norvrandt, the First being Eorzea and beyond. The Scions are dead, the Warrior of Light naught but a shade wandering Coerthas when (Yesui) she is drawn to a beacon. Little had she expected what she would find returning to the home she once shared with Thancred, Y'shtola, and the others, but she can do little more than to observe. Or...can she?
