He loudly sucked in air through his mouth and released it in the form of a yawn before attempting to lift his head from Laios' chest, his ear coming unstuck with a loud, wet pop. Kabru dug in his ear canal with his pinky finger to unclog it, scrunching up his face in disgust as it continued to make squealing, sucking sounds. There was a string of saliva coming off the corner of his mouth, smeared all over his cheek. His eyelashes fluttered, as if trying to get rid of the gunk that gathered in the corners of his eyes. Kabru let out another yawn which made something pop in his ear, causing him to grimace. Finally he pulled his pinky finger out of his ear with another wet pop, and wiped his cheek with the back of his hand. His eyelids slowly lifted and a pair of bright blue irises fixed on Laios' face, their irises immediately dilating with the joy of recognition, his expression noticeably softening.
