Summary
about 200 years after the events of Electric Snow, Torna faces some problems. Alrest is "shrinking", Jin is dying, Malos is still gone and if that weren't enough, Indol's new Praetor is starting to become a significant annoyance. Suffice to say, the crew of the Monocerous is collectively panicking - except for Jin, who trying to convince everyone that he is definitely fine and not experiencing complete organ failure.
Now it is up to Natalya, Mikhail, Akhos and Patroka to find a way to fix Jin's breaking Core Crystal before it is too late.

After the discovery of Armand's manipulation and deception, Louis seeks clarity and control over his own mind. He hunts down Lestat with the intention of winning him back and somehow making things right, but Louis finds his Maker a shadow of his vibrant self. Louis is confronted with an avalanche of epiphanies, including the fact that Lestat isn't the one holding grudges. They embark on a new life, one that is kind, gentle and includes Lestat on a world tour. Despite Lestat's forgiveness and their recent happiness, Louis finds himself haunted by feelings of guilt and anger. Rather than repeat mistakes of the past, Louis decides to confront his emotions and does something completely crazy: he asks for help. When our two favorite vampires travel to an isolated retreat with their lovely, patient therapist, they are stalked by a family of mysterious vampires who are unaware of their shocking connection to Lestat. Then Akasha shows up. Expect cliffhangers, cults, mercenaries, plot twists, kidnappings, tearful confessions, violent confrontations (not Loustat) smut (yes Loustat) and ... Armand, being Armand.
