Summary
It was just supposed to be a trip to another dimension to make Metal Sonic stronger. Eggman, Sage, and Metal Sonic never expected to become heroes.
Then again, when everyone in this world is a robot, turns out the Eggman Empire is a great thing.
But not all is well. Uzi, N, and V are dealing with new disappearances, and naturally, the missing Worker Drones turn up dead later. While Eggman works overtime resurrecting every dead drone he can find (and trying to teach the Worker Drones how to repair themselves and others), Metal and Sage team up with Uzi and her friends to face every threat plaguing Copper-9, from new Murder Drones to the return of the most dangerous Worker Drone in history.
And to top off Metal’s day, V has a crush on him. Great.

Set right around the pilot episode of the series. With minor lore alterations.
Uzi ventures out to the danger of the Spire, only instead of encountering N, she ends up meeting a far... stranger disassembly drone.
Stranger than she could have ever imagined.
A semi-animalistic disassembly drone, seemingly friendly around worker drones (maybe a little too friendly), eagerly searching for more 'friends' to bring home to his master. Harboring a grudge against his own kind.
While Uzi tries to make use of her newfound 'friend' to further her own ambitions, Doll discovers that the stranger might just hate murder drones more than her and Uzi combined.
I have plans to make this a longer story and get the other MD characters and OCs I made involved in future chapters. This is my first MD fic, too, so hope you enjoy!

Months have passed since the gods were defeated, the Solver and the Chaos Bringer having both been banished back into the shadows were they belonged. Peace finally returned upon Copper-9’s icy surface, yet tranquility hadn’t. Following Megatron’s departure, the decay of the world where Uzi and her friends lived was starting to become impossible to ignore. Resources were becoming scarce, plans for the future felt distant, and the hope that’d been rekindled following their last victory was starting to dwindle.
It was in the middle of these dark times that Soundwave, Megatron’s most loyal soldier, miraculously escaped the Shadowzone, finding his way upon the cold exoplanet. Fully unaware that the Decepticons have been disbanded, his loyalty to the cause he had served all his life remains unflinching. Even on this strange world of little machines, he thinks only of conquest in his master’s name, ready to seize this planet by himself as it lays in stagnation.
