Summary
Sickness, as most of us know, can have different effect on each one who has to make this pitiful experience.
Some get furious about their immune system not working as it should, betraying them, others collapse in tears and wailing and then there are the ones who won’t show you how bad they really feel until it’s too late. Edward in that case is a mixture of all three types. And during our years of shared company I had plenty opportunities to learn about it, believe me.
Most of them weren’t quite… pleasant.

In 1985, almost immediately after killing his great-grandmother, Jon flees his hometown to drive aimlessly out of Georgia. He quickly picks up Edward, who’s been hitchhiking much less aimlessly out of New Jersey. Jon doesn’t want to like Edward. That doesn’t work out.
A while later, in 2015, the Riddler sets in motion a scheme he’s been plotting since he was seventeen. The only thing in his way is Scarecrow, the new rogue in town who seems to know his every move before he makes it. Riddler wants to know who he is. He already does.

When he was twenty years old, Jonathan Crane fell in love with Edward Nashton. 30 years later, the Riddler meets Scarecrow.
