Summary
The overworld was refreshingly warm and humid. They were back on the Lifesteal server… somewhere. The sun was high in the sky, and the vibrant greens all around them had never looked so alive. It was a welcome change after the oppressive choking heat and redness of the Nether; it was a welcome change after the endless chill of the End.
The server was being petty, though. Rek and Woogie had only left to visit Rek’s own server for a few hours; hardly enough time for the Lifesteal server to care. Or… so he would’ve thought, if they hadn’t just portalled in from the world hub and landed in the middle of a vast and unknown meadow.

It never really fit in with the other Heatmor around due to its different coat colour, and it was easier for Durants to spot it whilst hunting. So, considering all these facts, it wasn't a hard decision to go with Emi, its new trainer. It liked its trainer; she was nice.

The world was always unfair in Xisuma's opinion, so cruel, it grasped you gently by the shoulder and then whispering sweet things into your ears before pushing you off a cliff. Of course not literally, Xisuma hasn't been forcefully pushed off a cliff-Not yet anyway but still. The world was cruel.
Especially now. It was like it giggled at him, the gently humming that only he could hear in his mind, the loud heart beat that he could hear when he got closer and closer to bedrock. It was never this loud, it was always a gentle heartbeat, but it had grown frantic like the server was running from something.

Wels curled himself into a blanket, letting out a heavy sigh. His mind wouldn't stop racing, words that felt like they weren't his filled his head. He turns towards the window, the cloudless sky. there wasn't even a single star either. Both the stars and clouds were hiding from him. Or perhaps something else? How strange. His eyes scanned the night sky for any source of light. Always coming back to the big blue moon, in fact it was a whole moon tonight.
Must be the reason he couldn't sleep, he muses, wrapping his dirty black wings around himself, before closing his eyes to be greeted by darkness.

Bits of sculk pop through the abandoned mineshaft he's found himself in, illuminating the cave in an eerie blue glow. It pulses intermittently, and whenever one begins to dim another one brightens, giving the feeling of something living, something bigger at work. It's almost like it's taken over the mineshaft, covering over rails and half-built frames, completely obstructing some areas. It's objectively horrifying.
It's exactly what Dan's been looking for.
