Indeed, Lux had been stocked with peppermint schnapps since the middle of November, and the dancers started showing up in red and white stripes as soon as Thanksgiving ticked over into Black Friday. It was very hard to stay festive, however, when your three year old had somehow gotten her hands on jingle bells.

Summary
In 1991, Saint Michael the Archangel was sent by God to learn about humanity from humans themselves within the structure of university. He established an identity as Michael Demiurgos, majored in the dictated fields of biology and anthropology, earned a degree in three years, and returned to Heaven without intending to interact that closely with humanity again.
In 1999, God sent Michael back to Earth with no direct commands, so he simply returned to his alma mater of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and became a medical student, then an intern, then a resident, then a fellow, and suddenly, it was 2011 and he was a respected cardiothoracic surgeon with a penchant for being absolutely horrible at human emotion. Regardless, he felt accomplished, or something along those lines. Unfortunately, 2011 was also when his twin decided to take a 'vacation' from Hell by tricking their older brother, so Michael was called back to Heaven to assist God.
Then it was 2016, and God had quietly kicked him from Heaven, and he'd just as quietly moved to Los Angeles. A crisis in 2018 slammed him back into Lucifer's life, and an incident in 2019 brought Ella Lopez into his.

Summary
Hello everyone! It’s the Holiday season so you know what that means? 1) Christmas time!! 2) Lucifer hiatus. Booo :( Anyway, for the month of December, until Christmas, I am going to [with the best of my ability] post a short (500-1K) holiday related one-shot. Think of this as a Lucifer Themed Christmas Advent calendar. I will be updating every day, hopefully, however, since I am still in school and finals will be coming up soon I might not be able to update until later at night. All chapters will explore the Luci Gang during the holiday season and will be filled with either fluff or a little angst (no smut sorry) but overall lots of Holiday Spirit. This will be post-reveal, so Chloe knows everything, and all relationships are semi-established. Each chapter can be read as individual stories or you can tie them all together. Also, just to note there may be some chapters where the character may act or say something that’s OOC, but since it’s the holiday season I figured I could let them go out of their comfort zones a bit. You will see in some of the later chapters. (I will be posting on my Tumblr page @ships-sailing-in-the-night as well) Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy and Happy Holidays from me to you!

A while later she surprised them both by kissing his devil face. It hadn’t been planned. They were watching a movie together one lazy Sunday afternoon. Lucifer was watching her instead, his red eyes narrowed again. She could almost see the cogs in his head turning. Chloe just turned to him, basically climbed into his lap, and kissed him.
This time, he didn’t kiss her back. He didn’t do anything actually.
“Lucifer?”
Had it been too much?
“Did you just…?”
She kissed him again, not sure what she was trying to prove but needing to prove it anyway.
“You’re beautiful.” She told him, smiling softly, “All of you, Lucifer.”
He barked out a laugh, staring at her as if she had gone crazy.

As Lucifer walked across the room towards the Detective's desk, he noticed that the figure sitting there was definitely not the Detective. The figure was quite a bit smaller, and much more inclined to sticky hands and impulsive hugs. She, however, didn't seem to notice him and was rather subdued. He thought it was strange to see her so unlike her usually happy and (unfortunately for him) clingy self. So much so, in fact, that he found himself making his way over to her and asking (without thinking or really even being conscious of the act), "What's wrong, child?"
Beatrice Decker jumped and tried to smile at him when she realized who had approached her. "Hi, Lucifer..." she said instead of answering his question.
"Yes," he replied absently, trying to think about anything else but the child in front of him (he couldn't). He watched as she looked down at the table; she didn't even try to hug him as she usually did. "Spawn," he called to get her attention. When she looked up at him, he found himself kneeling down to her level. "What's the matter, darling?" he asked, his voice gentle and soft (so unusual when applied anyone who wasn't his Detective).
