Summary

Alertness filled his mind. The headache never fully faded, but Obi-Wan put it from his mind and focused on following the trail of blood down the hallway. He grabbed the ‘saber on his belt and readied the hilt. If there was a threat, he could not sense it in the Force. However…there was something odd.
Anakin had always been a sun-spot in Obi-Wan’s periphery. The distance of star systems and war-torn battlefields had never managed to dull him. However, in the present, Obi-Wan found that Light doused as if water were thrown over a fire. He felt something again - fear. It wasn’t from him, but Anakin was burning with it. Obi-Wan could feel this terror like a poker of hot fire, as if Anakin were sending out explosive shards into the Force.
Suddenly, Obi-Wan’s headache had context.
