Cyno thinks hard for just a moment, the gestures, the comments. He doesn't want to let his heart get ahead of him, but he wonders just briefly if the reason Tighnari is so okay with everything, if the reason he's not upset-- is it possible he likes me as well?
“I'm not exactly versed in it.” Tighnari admits with a certain bluntness, “Just... help me to look convincing… won't you?”
"Oh?" Cyno takes a few steps back over. Shaking off the jitters as he approaches Tighnari again with a purpose following his action, “How bold of you.”

this is genuinely the perfect fic like. both cynari and haikaveh were written so well, and i love the tropes in this one. the fake dating, and EVERYONE pining and EVERYONE else knowing it. the scene in the first chapter, where haikaveh immediately start teasing cynari for "getting together" (even tho they're prolly worse), nari being embarrassed asf and cyno rushing to make haitham shut tf up. then cynari "practicing" lmfao, along with the nari freakout and cyno being haunted. and then the yap session b/w nari and haitham, the dynamics are so clear and interesting (it's always cyno/nari, kaveh/haitham, and cyno & haitham and nari & kaveh. so tighnari and alhaitham meeting each other is strange and welcome), and so freeing. like i imagine them confirming it for each other as the biggest breath of fresh air. then their plan (jealous cyno is a masterpiece idk) and the ending. everything was so delicious and well written <3
