Summary
Midnight, New York City. Outside of his home, Mayor Wilson Fisk dabs at his forehead with the distress of a ruler at war. Despite the chill of a night in December, his body is riddled with a quivering fever that he couldn’t sweat out if he tried.
Reporters and journalists surround him, hungry for any story they can get, seeming only more like bothersome pests with every step he takes. All with their own loyalties, their own motivations, yet they all want to know the same thing.
A group of men (About twenty, trained, and on patrol) working for Fisk were murdered hours prior, in a matter of minutes. The details are incredibly unclear—No two witness accounts match, security cameras seem to conveniently catch nothing; yet one thing remains obvious.
Witnesses insist there was only one attacker.And now, he knows the truth; that it isn’t just the reporters. All of New York will see, and when they do, they will ask.
So he answers.“We will find whoever is responsible for this.” He rasps, his vision swimming with panic as he realizes what he is promising—a verdict with little to no evidence; And yet, he lies anyway.
“We will find them, and we will kill them.”

Summary
The Greatest Karting Tournament in History has just concluded, Bowser's Trial has ended and the Mad Koopa has finally been put aside; his threats torment the Mushroom Kingdom no longer. As it feels like the worst is behind her, the now-Queen Peach Toadstool resumes rule over the Mushroom Kingdom, though it is a far more modernised and commercial world than everyone believed it to be.
The consequences of hosting such a glorious event and thriving through this new Era has become detrimental. The Mushroom Kingdom is bankrupt, rates of violence are skyrocketing, inequality is immense, and Peach's own rates of approval by her people begin to plummet. Scandals appear in the masses, new enemies appear in the shadows and conflict both out in the lands and deep within breeds catastrophe. Will Peach be able to handle this, and will she put relationships with her friends aside to save the Mushroom Kingdom from itself, for the greater good?
Mostly Peach-centred, with lots of inclusion of Daisy, Rosalina, Bowser, various Toads, the Mario brothers and many, many human, Toad and Koopa OCs to help shape the landscape of this dystopian, near-cyberpunk world developed through a mixture of modernisation and magical development.

Luigi, being the only sensible person (as usual), was the only one overthinking their newfound peace after the happenings of the Boomsday weapon. He had a difficult time enjoying himself when he reminded himself of the current fate of his enemies. Bowser had it coming- He had multiple chances and chose to go back to his old ways. Even though Luigi would argue that a prison isn't what Bowser needed to change.
Should that really be applying to his son, though? Poor lad was the spawn of the devilish Koopa King. Luigi was sure that if Bowser could change temporarily- Junior would do better. Permanently, perhaps? It was up to the green plumber to stand up for the kid and prove that Junior was just a child undeserving of a prison as a new home.However- that created a whole new problem (Or Luigi and Mario
