He crowds Shane into the hood of the car, hands up under his shirt and jacket again. October is getting cold; nights are getting colder. The places where Ilya is touching him are the only parts of Shane’s body that are warm right now. The way he shifts where he stands says it all. He takes the risk of stepping into his space, watches the way his throat moves in a rough swallow- he's taller, this close, but the way he folds into himself makes it seem less so- and takes his face in hand. He's not rough with it, tilts his head to the side, leans in just enough to feel the shuddering exhale when the boy's lips part in breathless anticipation, and he blows a lungful of gathered smoke into his face before he lets him go.
