"Look at me, Jack," he ordered, his voice got deeper and stronger as his grip tightened apprehensively. "You never stop looking at me, do you understand?" He spat, making the boy swallow hard. To say the figure before him was imposing was an understatement. "Answer me."
"Y-yes," he barely managed to say. His lips were pressed tightly together and large beads of sweat were threatening to trickle down his forehead.
The man hid a smile as he felt the tremor of the coppery skin beneath his fingertips. "Answer me properly. You know I don't like it when you stutter," he demanded, shaking Jack's face as if it were a rag doll.
"Yes, Mr. Gaskarth."
