Taken from death, Starscream finds himself in another world with otherworldly knowledge, thankfully he's not alone. Not only are his minicons with him, but a fellow displaced cybertronian is here with him. Soundwave from Earthspark with his cassettes, all four of them.
Renaming themselves as Armada and Soundblaster respectively, they plan to revive Cybertron and to interact as little as possible with the residents of the continuity they found themselves in. Sick of war and wanting a new home, they try their best to gather the Omega Keys before anyone else found out about their plan or their origins.
Unfortunately they're much too interesting to leave alone.

A freak accident on what is supposed to be a fun camping trip turns into a very unusual situation. After unintentionally piercing an energon crystal sitting under the surface when a young woman was hitting a stake into the ground, and unintentionally piercing a crystal, which causes a sudden blast wave of energon, which knocks her out and envelopes her body enough to cause a fast and sudden dependency on the energon. But this is not discovered until after the autobots arrive after detecting the energy spike, finding the distressed woman and brought her back to the base, only to discover what happened. But the affects wasn't just the energon dependency. It was something that Ratchet couldn't hide his disgust at, but Optimus refused to abandon the woman, even though it has turned her world upside down. And it is debatable if it is for better or for worse.

The Autobots and the Decepticons are the front-facing factions of the Cybertronian civil war—a conflict that has spilled out into the vast intergalactic and continues to destroy everything in its path despite the destruction of Cybertron.
That isn’t to say they are the only faction. Before the fall of Cybertron, a group known as the Shepherds of Polyhex took up the unique responsibility of trying to save as many lives as they could, N.A.I.L., Autobot, Decepticon—anyone touched by the conflict. After the Exodus, the Shepherds spread across the galaxy, with their leader and a small band of Cybertronian’s taking refuge on Earth.
Peace from distance does not last long, and ghosts of the past have returned to collect their dues.

Self-indulgent, self-insert rewrite except it's a whole team of Cybertronians who have basically taken up the responsibility of cleaning up everyone's mess. Too bad said Cybertronians are plenty messy themselves in terms of their personal lives. -
