Summary
At this point, Irma had become a close friend. But, April found herself become closer with the turtle brothers. She never met someone with as much rambunctious energy as Raph and Mikey, who would tease her playfully. Or did she have such long, deep talks with Leo that ranged from shows to historical facts. Even Master Splinter, although much older, was a calming and grounding presence to be around. In less than a year, April made quick friends so fast her head nearly spun around.
But, she could say she did have two best friends-Donnie and Casey. if she wasn't hanging out with the group, she was in the lab and chatting away with Donnie as they both worked on retro-mutagen or another gadget. Casey would hang out with her any chance they had during and after school, and even try to teach her basic hockey skills. Neither of them minded if she gave them hugs or joking punches-the same she would give to Irma. They would give her actual, genuine compliments and she would return them as warmly as she could.

Whoever said that being the youngest was easy obviously didn’t grow up with three very overprotective older brothers. Actually, if Mikey was going to describe being the youngest in a word it stunk!
No one ever took him seriously, especially not Raph. And even though he loved his big brothers – he got tired of them babying him all the time. Truth be told he had been fighting being the ”baby” of the family from the time he was seven, but here he was eight years later and still trying to get his brothers to see what he was capable of.

When a simple errand for gathering medical supplies goes awry, the four brothers find themselves stumbling upon a deep, dark secret of human experimentation. What should have been an easy undertaking becomes a slightly more complicated rescue mission of a young woman, and things go from bad to worse. Leonardo gets separated from his brothers, Michelangelo strikes a bargain with a sly fox, and Donatello pays the price while Raphael is generally just ticked off by everything. Without their leader they need to figure out where their big brother has been taken to, and thus - in order to find Leonardo - his brothers form an alliance with two women; one an alien tech mechanic the other an actual alien.
