A rare and unexpected snowstorm hits Yokohama, leaving the Agency suffering in a shared dorm room. To further their luck, a city-wide blackout occurs, leaving Ranpo to lead his coworkers through the storm to Dazai’s secondary residence where they get more than they bargained for.
Or: Ranpo, Kunikida, Yosano and Atsushi show up on Dazai’s door step during a snowstorm, only to be met with Chuuya instead.

In this world, death is a kindness. Sold and taken; products and consumed; auctioned for pleasure. It was a dying way of life, and yet, the yūkaku continued to thrive in the dregs of society.
A gilded cage within human rot. A stage for dolls, trained and brainwashed to please.

It only gets worse when he stops to get some photos of the flowers outside the florists just to realise that that was where Atsushi worked.

Akutagawa snapped his head away blurring the shot he had been taking at the sound of the unfinished greeting.
As he looked up from his crouch he saw none other than the boy he had left the library earlier to avoid — standing incredibly puzzled in a green apron with a pair of pruners held in the hand that was placed firmly on his hip.
“I didn’t know you did photography.”
Atsushi mused as Akutagawa brought himself to his feet incredibly annoyed that not only had he fucked up the shot but it was the fault of that thing.
Akutagawa rolled his eyes grabbing his bag and slinging it over his shoulder — perhaps this was his cue to finally go home.
