Summary
A Prime Defenders focused AU based on the webserial Worm!! Other JRWI characters make appearances sometimes and by sometimes i mean all the time <3 This is my own version of this AU where the main plot point events, powersets, and backstories are mostly the same, but the characterization and some other things have been tweaked to separate it. Credit for the Trickster + the wards’ powersets and general character designs go to intertexts and ghostiezone on tumblr—anything I do with the wards specifically is just building off their original concepts. The rest of the characters I write about are my own development. This is my own timeline separate from the original.

Summary
A figure stood in front of a building, one cloaked in blue flames.
The fire danced in their eyes as they stared up, up, up, as the screams of innocents filtered through their mind. They didn’t even really know why they had done it. All they knew was that they were supposed to do so. So they did. There was nothing more to it.
When William fell, the Wisps weren't the first one to find him. This changes some things.
