Summary
Taken from death, Starscream finds himself in another world with otherworldly knowledge, thankfully he's not alone. Not only are his minicons with him, but a fellow displaced cybertronian is here with him. Soundwave from Earthspark with his cassettes, all four of them.
Renaming themselves as Armada and Soundblaster respectively, they plan to revive Cybertron and to interact as little as possible with the residents of the continuity they found themselves in. Sick of war and wanting a new home, they try their best to gather the Omega Keys before anyone else found out about their plan or their origins.
Unfortunately they're much too interesting to leave alone.

Summary
Hook couldn't allow Soundwave to defect. It would be awful, it would be a true nightmare. Soundwave was the only other mech in the entire faction, it seemed like, who gave half a frag about getting anything done to acceptable standards. Shockwave was distracted by his science, Scrapper was a manager and therefore didn't count because his job was essentially to make Hook do his own job worse on someone else's direction (Hook understood that he was frustrated but this was a frustrating situation and Scrapper would get it) Megatron and Starscream weren't even worth considering, and the rest of the faction barely had jobs to even do. No, Hook would be all alone in the quality department if Soundwave actually left.
Also, the Decepticons would surely collapse. But that was less important than getting things done correctly and less important than not making Hook's life exponentially more difficult for no good reason at all.
Something had to be done!Or: Soundwave defects from the Decepticons. Hook takes it upon himself to fix this.
