If you were to ask Sunny how time functioned, he’d wouldn’t have been capable of giving you an answer. Now? Now not only can he not give you an answer but all the fundamentals he did know were broken down. If he had to give an answer the only thing he could come up with was that time was like a stream. It goes in one direction. But if you know how to manoeuvre. You can step back, or swim back? He wouldn’t know. And when you learn to turn back on the current, you truly become capable of seeing all the possibilities.

The chance had finally presented himself. Mordret could finally free himself. It wouldn’t even be something hard to do. So why? Why did it have to be someone so much like himself he would have to betray? But maybe… it was indeed a desperate gamble. But it was one that Mordret was willing to try. Because what he could get in exchange was far better than just escaping. Mordret smiled. Yes. This was going to be oh so fun.
This fic is in honour of a friend of mine and the many people asking for one.
This will be more on the short chapters format, focusing on how the story would change if Mordret didn't decide to betray Sunny.
