“What the fuck.” Usually he would restrain his reaction a bit, but he’s far too preoccupied staring at his dead sensei-turned-father-figure’s orphan son, all of six years old and sitting in the middle of his living room, grinning full at a bunch of stray dogs Kakashi’d semi-adopted.
Naruto looks up at him, apparently finally clueing in to the fact that he is no longer alone in the apartment. For a moment, the grin lingers, and he looks so much like Minato that it hurts. Then, the grin vanishes, and Naruto’s face contorts in shock and terror.
The grin hurt, but this expression feels like a punch directly to Kakashi’s gut, and he resists the urge to keel over at the force of it. Having Minato-sensei’s kid—the kid he would be a brother to were it not for the Kyuubi—look at him like he expects an attack chills Kakashi to the bones.

Six-year-old Naruto has been coming into this one apartment via the doggy door for months. He thinks it's a place specifically for the stray dogs that are always there. Kakashi, the owner of the apartment, thinks otherwise. It's a surprisingly good time.

If it wasn’t Sakura literally changing the landscape of the field underneath Kakashi’s feet, it was Sasuke swinging a sword crackling with lightning, both of them subtly herding him towards Naruto’s hundred shadow-clones, all of which were so fast he could barely track them even with the sharingan.
Kakashi was starting to think his team definitely didn’t have the same problems as the others.

Summary
In one world, Tanjiro Kamado stands in the aftermath of his family’s massacre and swears vengeance on the culprit. In that world, he and his sister are the ones to rise in power among the Demon Slayers in the hopes of ridding the world of one Muzan Kibutsuji.
In another, parallel world, their goals couldn’t be more different.
With the last two Kamados and every face they know on the opposite side of a centuries-long war, there is a need for someone else to take up the sword to defend the world from demons. A frail boy, saved from the slaughter of his family by simple virtue of being in the right place at the right time.
The two worlds would have gotten on just fine if they continued in parallel. Less a few heroes, certainly, but everything would have progressed according to plan.
Most would agree it’s a good thing they didn’t.
Or, the Kamaboko squad (minus Nezuko) find themselves in a world where everyone’s roles have been reversed. Their counterparts could say the same.

After graduating college, things only get worse. He is unsuccessful at finding a job in the field of chemistry. His parent will no longer pay for his fancy apartment in Tokyo upon hearing that. He is forced to leave Tokyo for a small town where he takes up work at a local convenience store run by Tanjiro’s family. It’s the last thing he wants to do, but he needs the money.
Here he sees a lot of familiar faces. Hashira, former members of the Twelve Kizuki, and many more. However, none seem to remember him or anything about their old lives. In some cases this is an advantage. But Muzan still wishes for his old strength, his old life, and for someone, anyone, to remember him.

Aburame’s would literally kill someone if they did as little as step on a bug, inuzuka were just like they’re dogs and claimed anyone they saw as part of their ‘pack’, and Hyuga those prim and proper neat freaks were some of the most stalkery people on the planet.
