Wally West likes girls. Or so he thought. Over the years he learns that maybe he doesn't like girls as much as he thought he did. Even later he learns that maybe he does not like anyone like that. And that's okay.
It is a lot harder to come to terms with the fact that he will never have what everyone else has. That he will never experience what he always dreamed of.
It only gets worse when he realizes that he likes his best friend, in a queer platonic way. It doesn't change much but it makes Wally doubt his sexuality all over again. When his best friend asks him on a date, Wally doesn't know what to do. Wally would love to fall in love with him. He was already in love, just not romantic. It was times like that when Wally wished that he could love like everybody else.
