“I was bluffing, clearly,” he said, a blush rising on his neck. “It was part of the plan!”
Maki tsked, rolling her eyes. “I can’t believe you’re a special grade,” she said. “Those idiots didn’t get to see you shaking and mumbling Rika-chan, Rika-chan in first year.”
“Yes!” Panda said snapping. “Before he got his scary dog privileges.”
“S- Scary dog?!” Yuuta spluttered at the slander.

But what’s meant to close the book of their short-lived tale instead makes them believe they can use it to add more chapters, and in conversation with their past selves, who’re clueless of what’s to come, they attempt to rewrite their story.
