Zack's talking faster. Like he can sense the ominous force rising in the background. "And actually when you think about it, you're the first consort. You visiting would show some major respect for an old ally like that," he assures Angeal.
"I see. So this plan would involve leaving you here to –" Angeal twists his torso slightly to break Zack's hold again, and sits up to pin him. "– hold down the fort, so to speak?"
Zack splutters and tries to sit up. Angeal restrains his squirming without any apparent effort, a look of a distant contemplation on his face. "No way, man! For real?! Of course I've gotta go with you! Say psych!"
"Do I get a say in this?!" Genesis demands, throwing up both arms up to the sides and then letting them drop.
"At some point," Angeal says, cryptically.
The noise that Genesis makes cannot be quantified.

Summary
All Stiles wanted was to enjoy a drink at Pandemonium with his best friend and maybe end the night with a pretty human - or maybe a werewolf, it'd been a minute - to celebrate the end of his college career. Instead he got Clary Fray suddenly manifesting Sight, Shadowhunters all over the place, and the Circle popping back up like the dimension's least-likable jack-in-the-box. He'd hidden from the others of his kind all his life with the exception of his mentor and he had zero intention of getting sucked into Shadow World, Downworld, or the Inter-Realm, Multidimensional politics that was anything to do with demons, nephilim, and the Fae.
Too bad fate had other plans, including a warlock who wore glitter like he was born with it and a shadowhunter who should not have a smile that sweet and shy.
If he didn't know better, he'd think Ragnor cursed him after their last argument over Stiles's habit of locking away his heart, but he did know better.
Even Ragnor Fell couldn't have planned for how swiftly Stiles's world could implode and all because one girl didn't have the sense to look the other way when Shadowhunters and demons were roaming the night.

Summary
This was NOT part of the plan. I was supposed to wake up after brain surgery and get better so I could do all the things my mom and I had been dreaming about for years. Like going to college, making friends, and traveling the world. I was NOT supposed to end up in the Twilight universe inside of Bella fucking Swan's body.
Two months in and I can't avoid going to Forks. Renee is catching on too quickly. It's impossible to act in character all the time, especially since Bella's personality and mine are... not comparable...
In a world of mythos, magic, and monsters, there has to be a way to get back to my world, right? Bella's fate was bound to be tangled in with the supernatural anyway, so no harm no foul. That's what I foolishly believed.
The last thing I ever expected to find family with the Cullens...or to perhaps fall in love with a man who wasn't meant for me. What will happen if I wake up? What will happen if I never wake up?
And how do I even begin to explain the difference between 'Bella' and ME?

Stiles freezes, because what.
Fury doesn’t say anything else, doesn’t explain, even after Stiles gestures for more. “What the hell do you mean it’s my resume? If you haven’t realized it, I’m still in college.”
He doesn’t look impressed. “You’ve been in college. You have two degrees, four separate certifications, and you’re on the fast-track for a PhD.”
“I like learning,” Stiles deadpans.
“You like helping, and it just so happens that I have someone you can help.”
