“Are you an Auror?”
“No. I’m a magizoologist.”
Graves exhaled, exasperated. “A what? Is this a rescue or are you a hostage?”
“Sort of neither,” Newt admitted.

Summary
Humans were never meant to tamper with the natural order.
"O dear child...." Ash sat up, alerting Celebi and Pikachu by his side.
"A-Arceus.." Ash exhaled a long breath.
" My chosen one.." Arceus's voice was audible, but he was nowhere to be seen. "Humans were never meant to hold this extent of power. The destruction caused in so damning that there's only one thing that can be done." Ash was able to feel the sorrow in his voice.
" Arceus.." Ash mumbled, clutching Pikachu close. He didn't need Arceus to say anything more. He knew the only possible outcome. "Do it..." Ash, swallowed hard.
"I-"
"It's fine. I know. I understand." Ash mumbled. "The others told me."
"Very well, my child," Arceus said.. " However, you must understand...Things will not be the same. Since the fabric of the universe will be changed in itself. The reality you'll find yourself in might be completely different. You will, however, have companions to help you through your journey."
"Arceus.." Ash closed his eyes softly. "Make sure I don't get lost."

He took Ash’s hand and pulled him to his feet, reaching his other arm out for Pikachu to run up, before taking off, half dragging the boy along. They ran for another ten minutes before coming across a cave. Inside were a few Zubat and an Eevee, but they didn’t seem to mind the three’s presence.
Ash sat on the ground and Pikachu immediately curled up in his lap, letting Ash run his hands along his fur. He stopped quickly as he saw red flakes coming off his hands and rubbing into Pikachu’s coat that the mouse worked so hard to keep clean. He shoved his hands under his thighs, trying not to stain anything else with Lysandre’s blood.
