Summary
Sukuna had grand plans to make the world bow to him once again. All that was foiled by a vessel he couldn't control. As the years pass, Itadori loses patience for Sukuna. The curse grows bored and weary of his small world.
When Itadori begins to cough up flower petals, everyone tries to suss out who Itadori likes. He is adamant that there is no confession on the tip of his tongue, no words left unspoken.
No one would ever suspect the King of Curses to be lovesick.

[Sukuna exhales, sinking into his throne. This feels so real, so right. After all this time, he has finally won. It had been a delicate dance of control for so many years. Up until the very end, the brat thought he might be able to keep Sukuna in line. But he had failed, and the King of Curses had cheated death and walked away without so much as a scratch. Now, he was looking down on his kingdom again. He had brought Japan to its knees. The country, and finally the world, was forced to acknowledge the existence of curses- and its new god.
There was no one who could stand in his way anymore. He could kill all of his servants a thousand times over and still have people lining up to bow before him without even having to seek the wretched creatures out. There were always pitiful, obsessed humans who wanted his attention, his body, his power. They were just as happy to die for him as they were to serve him. He could have any wench he wanted to warm his bed. Any food, any entertainment, all the money he could ever want... he is all-powerful. He is finally king again.
