In which the Spardas find themselves in the Netflix verse, Vergil & Dante wreck Mundus and Argosax in less than a min, Nero drops the dad bomb, and all three leave the other versions of the twins discombobulated. The brief crossover does not change the Canon sad ending, painful but understandable conclusion.
Phenomenal writing, very in character. The whole concept of the Gameverse characters just outright wrecking the Netflix versions is cathartic and hilarious. Delightful read

The voice continues, “Hey, down here.”
Vergil complies against his better judgment, but it takes him a second to realise where the sound is even supposed to be coming from. It's only when his shadow's left hand, the one not clutching the Yamato, moves of its own accord to rub against his shadow's face that he realises what must be happening. A shadow cannot be fought so easily, but even intangible demons can be bested. He must bide his time. His eyes narrow at the offending invader and he voices, “Who are you?"
There’s a slight pause, as the shadow tilts its head. Finally, it replies, “The name’s Nero. And don’t scowl too much, it makes you look older than you are.”

DC x Marvel crossover, wherein Damian gets sent to the 1st Avengers movie, turning into a mutant and getting adopted by Natasha, ft. Disaster uncles. Completed, 1st of a series.
Phenomenal fic. The characters feel so realistic, from their perspective to their dialogue and motivations. Found family feels, within a believable setting. This was a delightful read, looking forward to more.

DMC, completed. In which Vergil consumed the Qliphoth seed but was unable to rid himself of his humanity due to finding and loving Nero, leading him to slowly die via Hanahaki-esque body horror. Had me fully sobbing reading it. Happy ending, full of hope and family feels. Absolutely phenomenal work.

DMC, completed. THE SOFTEST SPARDA FAMILY EVER. The Hurt/Comfort and the fluff in every chapter was so ♡♡♡ Building on their hybrid status and demonic instincts, the way they're FAMILY.
Chapter 2 got me giggling with that line "Now, how does he tell his father he might not have legs?"
Amazing work, absolute comfort read.

Summary
Dante's convinced that the best part of returning from Hell is getting to eat pizza again. Seeing his favorite nephew is an added bonus.
When their impromptu family reunion ends up going far worse than he'd have liked, Dante quickly realizes that Nero isn't as fine as he thought the kid would be. His behavior is uncannily close to how Dante acted after he was forced to kill Nelo Angelo.
Talking things out was never Dante's strong suit but he figures he's gotta do something before he loses the family he'd just put back together.

Part 1 of a series, completed. In which Nero gets put through the wringer, Vergil gets a clue that he Cares, and Dante has the one braincell. My poor son,,, Nero my boy,,, all of them are so traumatized. Phenomenal fic, I adored the instances between Nero and Vergil quoting poetry, Dante's introspection on their family dynamics, that scene in the void with V (Ch.11), absolutely heart wrenching. Absolutely brilliant work

Vergil had research to do in Fortuna, tomes to dig up, power to obtain. Too bad his Fortuna Library contact had happened to, in the intervening years, have a baby, lose custody of said baby, be disowned, set a bush on fire, and vanish.
Such gossip would have been of very little concern to him, had the timing of said baby's conception not coincided with their, ahem, short yet intense acquaintance. The child is probably not his, but. He'll track it down. Just. Just to make sure.
He is certainly keeping his wits and not freaking out at all.
