Summary
An unfamiliar, stretchy someone and her fuzzy best friend have come to break Lars out of space prison and put an end to his over-a-millennium-long confinement. It would seem that much has changed during his containment, however, including himself. How will he deal with these changes? Should he deal with them at all? And, most importantly, why are his two close friends, Steven and Connie, missing? Where could they have possibly gone!?
The (once again, canon compliant) sequel to another story of mine, “Buzzing”. Please read that before this unless you enjoy being confused by worldbuilding and symbolism.

It has been centuries since Lars set off for the stars with his crew. Who knew that he'd end up spending a lot of that time in a high-security space prison for his many crimes against Homeworld as a space pirate? Thankfully, it seems that a familiar, pink someone has come to finally break him out and end his multi-decade-long, mind-numbing boredom. As he will find out, however, he wasn't exactly broken out for no reason...
A worldbuilding-centric, canon compliant fic focused on Lars that's set centuries after the events of Steven Universe Future. Oh, and there's also quite a bit of Connverse/Steven x Connie.
