“Can I help you?” Jaime asked flatly, unable to muster up his usual customer service charm.
The man looked at Jaime with disappointment and craned his head, trying to see around Jaime into the back. “Is she not here today?” he finally asked.
Jaime blinked. “Is who not here today?”
“The big woman!” the man exclaimed. “She works here, I know. I just wanted to stop in today and say hello.”
“The big... You mean Brienne?” Jaime asked disbelievingly. Who did this guy think he was?

Jaime's finally starting to become friends with his prickly coworker Brienne. His inconvenient crush on her isn't even really that big of a problem until a certain red-headed barbarian turns up at Winterfell Florals and tries to enlist Jaime's help in wooing her.

“What do you mean, your catfish?” Ilya angles the phone so Sveta can see the shirtless picture on the screen.
“This guy is pretending to be Shane Hollander on Grindr. It’s pretty funny. He’s cropped the face out, but he’s using pictures from the billboard next to my apartment.”
Or: Ilya Rozanov is sure he's being catfished- why would the real Shane Hollander be on Grindr, talking to random university of Ottawa students? But the more he talks to Wayne, the more he starts to like him, and the more he wishes Wayne would just come clean so they can finally be together.

Ilya's heart stuttered at the last clip. A video of hands toasting beer bottles. The camera rose and panned the hotel bar, swinging to Harris’s boyfriend and…Shane Hollander. Shane Hollander, in the same light blue shirt that Ilya had seen dashing around a street corner a few hours ago. Shane Hollander, a little rumpled, adorably jet-lagged, drinking at a hotel bar that Harris had conveniently tagged. Ilya knew, he just knew what he'd find when he clicked on the location. The back of his neck was buzzing, a bizarre intuition thrumming in him.
The location opened, and Ilya had to bite back a laugh. Shane Hollander was in Hanoi, only a few minutes away from him.

He hastily clicked open the folder, his eyes barely glancing through the dozen or so shots there, vaguely registering a picture with a sunset background from his condo balcony, something of him laughing, a picture of him working at his laptop with his glasses on...
The director called him again, and he shook his head, the photos blurring. Whatever. It would have to do.
He clicked "select all," then the messages icon, then Rozanov's name. Hit send.

Ilya widens his eyes, moves his hands in an impatient “get on with it” motion. He has the urge to say it for him, end both their misery. Shane blinks rapidly a few times, takes another deep breath. “I want to stop,” he says simply.
Ilya lets out one humorless laugh, “Stop what?”
Shane ignores him. “At the All Star Game, I told you I liked you. And you said about Russia and your family. And I looked some things up. I get it. I get it better now. I know we can’t but I can’t stop wanting to be…more. Unless we stop.”
