    Katara didn’t answer. Her shoulders bunched slightly, her grip tightening around the spoon in her hand. Azula stepped onto the cool tiles of the kitchen, the shift in flooring marking a quiet transition into Katara’s space.
    The room was small, but functional. Cabinets lined the walls, kitchen items placed with careful purpose. Nothing grand - but lived in. Everything here had a place, had been touched and used and cared for.

    Azula had nothing like that anymore.
