Summary
No one had asked him if he wanted a brother. Yet here he was, trying to figure out how to deal with an unruly twelve year old, trying to do his part to contribute, and trying to understand where he belongs within this odd gang that had all but become his family. And it feels like the harder he tries, the further away he ends up. Arthur isn't a kid anymore, and he's trying to grow up...but he's afraid it isn't enough.

There are no stars to be found above or below, only an unsettled, frothing gumbo, strange bird calls amidst the insect chatter, a humidity that’s hard to breathe. His shirt is plastered to his chest and back, likely permanently tinted green, and the feeling that he can’t fully expand his lungs within the soggy, slimy fabric is particularly difficult to ignore.
Set after the Chapter 4 mission 'Country Pursuits' and during 'Revenge is a Dish Best Eaten', Arthur spends time in Lagras before the gang pays Angelo Bronte a final visit.

He watched Arthur chopping wood, a sheen of sweat on his forehead, his hair plastered to the back of his neck with sweat, sleeves rolled up exposing bulging muscles shining in the sunlight. Charles had to admit, their camp workhorse was a sight to behold, impressive and imposing yet he knew just how sweet the man could be.
OR
Charles is thirsting after Arthur in the Lemoyne heat. They go on a "fishing trip" to cool off.

Beneath all the churning hot blood in Charles’ body, giddiness was starting to bubble as well, because he was sure now. Arthur had to want this as well, or Charles would’ve already got a face full of fist. It had to be so.
“Where I am now,” he managed, utterly, utterly ruined, hard in his pants and sweating in the neck.

Charles keeps praising Arthur, who gets a little weird every time it happens. Charles wonders what it's all about, and what his weird feelings about Arthur are all about. He'll figure it all out, in the end.
Not before giving Arthur a bit of a hard time, though.
