Summary
After Noctis is infected with the Starscourge, he is unable to enter the Crystal to fulfil his destiny as the King of Light. Ignis and Gladio return to Lucis to look after Noctis’s people, but Prompto can’t bring himself to abandon his best friend, his partner. Now, a year later, the Long Night is in full swing. Prompto does his best to try and keep the few human survivors of Gralea alive, while Noctis rules Gralea’s daemons from the ruins of Zegnautus Keep.
But the two can’t be so easily kept apart — especially when Noctis still clings to his fated role, despite the corruption that necessitates he drink human blood to survive. When Prompto is kidnapped by Noctis’s daemons, will the two find a way to overcome the distance between them and end the Long Night for good?

Summary
Ever since the Sour Nest, Caleb has been invisible. When his search for an explanation in Zadash yields no answers, he and the rest of the Mighty Nein continue on regardless. Eddie and Buck lie about their relationship and the reveal is a big part of the plot, however, before the reveal happens there were so many moments where everyone could have found out.
