Bakugou would grunt, call him an idiot, and remind him in his own gruff way that he was the only partner he trusted to have his back. Aizawa, too, had noticed the occasional dip in Kirishima’s usual boundless energy during homeroom check-ins and had quietly offered extra mentoring sessions. But no one knew the true extent of how deep the darkness could go.
