"Maybe there is no next step," Finn says, and he can hear the belligerence in his tone; he's not really sure where it's coming from. "Maybe things really are good enough."
Or, the one where Poe has the flu and Finn takes care of him, all the while insisting that they're NOT ACTUALLY TOGETHER, although everyone in the Resistance has this idea that they are.

Finn breaks the kiss. Cupping Poe’s chin, tracing his puzzled frown with the pad of his thumb, he says conversationally, “What’s with ‘buddy’, anyway?”
Poe stares at him. “What?”
“You’ve been calling me 'buddy’ almost since we met. How come?”
The look of bewilderment that crosses Poe’s face is priceless. He looks like he just fell out of hyperspace, with no clue as to where he is or how he got there. “Um,” he says slowly. “Is this a serious question?”
Finn kisses the crease between Poe’s eyebrows. “Sure,” he says.
Or, Finn enjoys teasing Poe.

It had been a spur of the moment decision; hidden by the commotion of things, Finn had had a split second to make up his mind and grab the nearest Resistance scout to him, dragging them away from the fight.
“I need you to deliver a message to the Resistance,” he’d said, surprising the woman when he’d finally released her behind the cover of an untouched hut. “Tell them I have information they want.
Finn hadn’t known. He hadn’t realised how much of himself he would be sacrificing in the end. He hadn’t known about Poe.
Or
Finn wants to help the Resistance fight the First Order from the inside. Poe shows him there's more to freedom than surviving.

But he’s staring at Poe like he’s the only one in that corridor, like he’s borne witness to every ounce of pain Poe has ever felt and will ever feel. It sends a shiver straight down his back.
The Captain looks back and forth between the two. Poe swears she chuckles. “How interesting.”

Summary
As newly appointed Co-Generals of the Resistance, Poe and Finn go on a diplomatic mission to Passio Verak, a planet that was until recently under First Order rule. However what appears at first to be a purely ceremonial visit soon takes a more sinister turn. In the midst of fighting for their lives, Poe struggles with leadership, the lasting effects of the war and the messy reality of his feelings for Finn.
(C-3PO hesitates and then, in a passable robotic simulation of a whisper, he says, “Not to question your judgement sirs, but perhaps it would be best not to give the impression that your marriage is in trouble? Palace gossip can be frightfully insidious.”
“Our what now?” Poe says dumbly, blinking. Behind him he hears Finn make a strangled sort of noise.
“Your marriage.” C-3PO says and then tuts. “Oh dear, you really didn’t read the manual on Verakian customs I provided, did you?”)

“I imagine it did,” Leia said. “But why did you defect that day?”
“Because they wanted me to kill people,” Finn said. “And I didn’t want to do it, so they were going to send me to reconditioning, and that would have sucked even more, so I decided I’d rather take my chances getting out of there with the only person who I knew definitely wouldn’t turn me in. So really, I just got lucky.”
Poe turned to Leia. “He just convinced me. Can I quit the Resistance so that I can join the Resistance again?”
In which Finn goes on a road trip, befriends a princess, and starts sleeping with his best friend.
