    It's 2023.
    Ottawa has a real chance at the cup again this year.
    First win could've been luck but a second one in a row would cement their reputation.
    And if these few remaining games go right, they will be looking at back-to-back wins.
    Shane might be the first player in MHL history who has consecutive wins in two different teams.
    He will never do anything to jeopardize that opportunity.
    But his body. Something's happening... Not to mention his temper.
    It can probably wait until after they get the cup though.
    Probably.

    Or, it’s Shane’s second season with the Centaurs and he’s getting that cup, no matter what his body’s screaming at him. Ilya’s more stressed about it than he is. They get the cup and a pretty amazing souvenir out of it by the end of the season though.

    Set in a universe where everyone can get pregnant. Men just need time and “effort” for their bodies to adjust to being a carrier. It usually takes a while and is normally done on purpose. Hollanov is really just that “casually beats the odds” couple.
