Summary
After being ‘saved’ by the IPC, Aventurine has become a permanent presence in the Interastral Space Lab. Though the Doctor he was assigned to initially was a cold and professional man, his avoidant attitude melted into something much softer when the threat of another’s experiments cast a shadow upon his plans.
Nursing Aventurine and earning his trust was Dr. Ratio’s best chance at finding out what made the Omega so sensitive to their heat suppressants - ultimately nullifying the negative side-effects for the Beastkin race.
But would Aventurine be forced to go through his heat agonized by their experimentations, or would the helpful Doctor find a quick solution first?
It seemed like such a small price to pay for his own freedom.

So, he rolls the dice.
“You caused this, you know,” Aventurine raises the stakes to the ceiling, baits the player with a card he would not have shown if it weren’t for how desperate he was. He’s a lucky man; Ratio is steeled in his spot, unable to look away. “Won’t you take responsibility of me, doctor?”
Ratio swallows. "I did this to you?”
“Nobody else,” He sighs, beckoning him with a single motion. Ratio is right where he wants him—hook, line, and sinker. “Aren’t you special, inducing an omega’s heat without lifting a finger.”
Aventurine had never felt much like an omega, disconnected from the mere notion when there were other pressing matters at hand. It stuns him, of course, when the dormant animal finally begins to speak—in the middle of kissing one handsome doctor.
(Perhaps it's because he lacks the knowledge of what other factors can affect an omega’s heat, that he throws himself straight into one.)

Summary
After many successful missions, the IPC sent Aventurine and Dr. Ratio to another planet in order to gain business opportunities for the corporation. The catch about this mission were the fact they had to gain informations about the planet undercover and the strict caste system that was the law there: Alphas were the ruling class that had all the benefits and rights, while Omegas were seen as the lowest class, only existing to serve the Alphas.
For an alpha and a beta like Aventurine and Dr. Ratio, this wouldn't have been much of a hurdle, but after arriving at their location, it is discovered that Ratio was an Omega all along.
The rules on this planet were hard to follow, but what truly stained their relationship were Aventurine's Alpha instincts telling him to claim the Doctor as his mate after his true gender was revealed.
And when Aventurine committed murder in order to save Ratio from a group of Alphas, everything went downhill for the both of them...Bookmarked by Alkiyoni
