“It’s okay. I don’t need anything.”
“I am not going to eat in front of you while you have nothing, Hollander,” Ilya scoffs. He plucks a can of cold ginger ale from the top shelf as casually as he can manage and slides it over the island, interrupting Hollander’s fidgeting thumbs. “You must be hungry, yes? It’s been hours since you left hotel. I can make something. Easy.”
“Make… what?” he asks warily.
Ilya rolls his eyes and tosses a look over his shoulder. “Do not worry. I will find something that works for your special hockey diet,” he teases. He reaches back into the fridge. “Tuna melt okay?”
“No,” Hollander says primly. “And it’s a disease. Not a diet.”
He pulls his hands out of the cold and turns, blinks. “What?”

Summary
"No," Eddie says, shaking his head when the officer looks over his shoulder to Chim. He lashes out, grips the Officer by his button down uniform, shakes him and forces him to look at Eddie. He bares his teeth, heart battering the same way it did in that damn New Mexico hospital. "You're looking at me right now, do you understand? You're answering my questions. Now tell me, where is Buck?"
After New Mexico, Buck's house burns down, and he's nowhere to be found. Eddie promptly loses his mind.

Ilya and Shane are once again convinced to put up an auction package at the yearly League Pride event, with a New York queer shelter, that includes a morning skate, lunch with Shane and Ilya, a locker room tour, and seats in a suite for the game.
It does not include debates about companion animals for players that may or may not include dragons, arguments over whether Scott Hunter is cool, or an existential crisis about aging.
Somehow, Shane and Ilya get all three of them though.OR
