You know how YuGiOh is a lot of card games with a little magic thrown into the mix? What if it was a lot of magic with only the occasional card game? That’s the idea we’re playing with here. No filler arcs. Minimal duels. Lots of character development, magic, and boys being cute as they save the world and maybe fall in love along the way. Literally no scene will play out as it did in the original show and we’re going to be deviating from the initial plot almost right out of the gate. The rare bits of content that do match the original narrative will be gone over as quickly as possible.
And while we're at it, let's fix the Egyptology, too.

Now, trapped in a land where there were fruits instead of magic and pirates instead of guilds, Lucy and Laxus have to follow what clues they have to get back home to Earthland.
They don't know where these new Keys came from or how they're tied to the Void Century, but they'll be damned before they stop looking for answers.

In which Soo-Won stages a coup to place a candidate on the throne that is so much more qualified instead of himself. Said candidate wants exactly nothing to do with all this and just wants to find her sister again. By the end of it all, Kye-Sook loses like thirty years off his life.
But that's okay.
He's an asshole anyway.

Sengoku had paused mid-word, as if expecting Doflamingo to say something — a greeting, or perhaps even more delusionally, an apology for being late — but of course, the pink fucker never did.
He walked — though that was a generous use of that verb in Crocodile’s opinion — towards the table, wasting no time before stepping onto it, settling himself cross-legged right in the middle.
Always needing to be the centre of attention, Crocodile thought with a sneer.
"We can sit on top of the table?!" Luffy yelled, excited, before wriggling out of Crocodile's grasp and clambering onto the table.
Somehow, that was the last straw; everyone's attention was now firmly on Luffy, with no one bothering to pretend like he didn't exist.
Luffy, for his part, appeared entirely unbothered — of course — as he settled himself by Doflamingo's side, pulling his feathery coat over his own shoulders.

He had expected a baby, not a toddler or was he older? Sickly like no D should be, he felt the pull of the tides in his blood, the roaring of the wind in his ears as he tore his eyes away from the child to the woman before him.
