“Are you okay?” Chris asked, crossing his arms over his - unfairly and ridiculously toned, goddamnit – chest as he leaned against the wall. “I tried telling you that the last row of shots was a bad idea.“
Leon knew that Chris didn’t mean anything bad by it, it wasn’t in Chris’ nature to be intentionally mean. Yet he was standing there, looking unfairly put together, basically giving Leon the ‘I told you so’, and immediately Leon’s patience was worn thin. He felt like absolute garbage, and while usually he wasn’t quick to anger now he spoke without even thinking. “I’m fine. Go away.”
There was a deep sigh, and Chris did the exact opposite.

Summary
Leon meets an older guy called Chris at a bar and goes back with him to his hotel. They spend an incredible night together with some unexpected emotions rising during their parting in the morning. Leon yearns to see Chris again, but ends up crossing paths with him a lot sooner than expected when he returns to his work at the RPD the very next day. The BSAA is there using the precinct as they investigate a potential threat in Racoon City, led by Captain Redfield - a man who Leon immediately recognises as Chris.
Chris wants to keep things professional and pretend that nothing ever happened, but it's never as simple as that, is it?
Leon just wants to help lift the burden from Chris' shoulders, but doing so may very well expose him to terrors that he'd never expected to face.
How can Leon and Chris ever navigate the tensions between them whilst also fighting against a threat to Racoon City? Will they always butt heads, or will they eventually find a common ground between them, and can they ever find that spark ignited during what was supposed to be nothing more than a one night stand?
