I don't know... I am just an aging ADHDer that can't not apply shit to this fandom. Listening to an old playlist and this song keeps making me think that at some point Ilya would hear it and just find it so ridiculously hilarious, that he could not help but force Shane to listen too!

Lily: Hammersmith in charge of music and this month we are going ‘music of your teens’ and this song is crazy! Made them play it many times, stuck in my head.

Ilya moved and rested next to him, Shane leaned over and curled in on his side, moving the weighted blanket over his hips, to rest his head on Ilya’s thigh. He closed his eyes as he heard the video start.They both listened to the male voice from the UK start talking. Ilya immediately knew why Shane had run. He wrapped his arm around and under Shane’s arm, pressing his flat palm to his chest while he held the phone with his other hand. Shane pressed his hands over his and held him there. As the man kept talking, he felt Shane start to cry, his chest sobbing. He couldn’t make it more than five minutes in; he paused it and ran his now-free hand through Shane’s hair.
Through tears his words came out in a torrent “Am I the weird one? Everyone always talks about how antisocial I am and makes jokes about how I don’t go out with people and I like to stay home and read. I am always boring and eat weird food and have such a strict focus on hockey and have all these rules and I make people follow them…” He was starting to struggle to take in a breath.

Just couldn't let go of how the night after the pasta dinner went. Yuna is a thinker and a planner, so I think it would have led to a sleepless night. David is the quiet observer, always there to be steady (and boring) as the anchor in the storm.
I know many people have different takes on this, this is just my little version.
**UPDATE** I am having so much fun writing this, I am going to keep going straight through the whole season Ilya is in Boston before his trade to Ottawa! 🥰

Summary
I just… I can’t let go of this major oversight in the ‘tension’ of the group. Andre gives Marie shit in the first episode and Jordan has this constant ‘she left me behind’ bullshit that irks me knowing how their story starts. I decided to give Marie a voice about it.

Summary
Refusing to let Ilya ruin his career by signing with Ottawa, Shane chooses to really give their relationship a try and moves to Boston to live with Ilya and become a Raider. What follows is enough public scrutiny and backlash from his team that it has him questioning if he made the right decision. Until moments with Ilya and the Raiders show him exactly why he chose correctly.

Hayden’s eyes flickered to Shane as he sat on the bench, chewing on the edge of his mouth guard.
“Don’t fucking look at him,” Ilya insisted as he bent down for the faceoff.
“Excuse me?” Hayden mumbled, eyes darting back to him.
“You heard me,” he retorted, his tone clipped. “He’s not your teammate anymore; he’s mine. If you think Marlow is a problem to your game, wait until you see what I will do to your team if you hurt anyone on mine again.”
Hayden scoffed, dipping his head as he tried to focus on the game. Something about Ilya’s words still rang through his head though, sounding so definitive that he didn’t want to risk seeing what he was actually referring to when he said that.
The puck dropped again, and Ilya stole it before he could comprehend how quickly it happened.

Shane claws at the sheets, drunk on the image of Ilya pounding into him relentlessly.
‘Tell me how it feels, Hollander.’
“Feels so good, don’t stop,” Shane whines emphatically, cheek shoved flat against the bed.
He’s so fucking close, right on the precipice of release. He feels a familiar trembling in his thighs, a spark igniting at the base of his spine. He speeds up even more, rutting against the damp pillow as his orgasm approaches.
“Ilya, fuck, I’m close, I need -”
“What do you need, Hollander?”
Shane’s eyes fly open and his movements screech to a halt, body shooting upright and moving off of the pillow as if it’s burned him. He stares in wide-eyed horror as Ilya smirks at him from the doorway.
Fuck.
Shane and Ilya are friends and roommates. When Ilya stumbles upon Shane during some “alone time”, he decides to stick around.
