Hitoshi, Izuku, and Eri have been on their own for a while now. Things aren't great but they make due, and their friend Ochako helps out sometimes. Sure they're homeless, and on the run from the yakuza, and sure, Eri accidentally rewound Izuku so that he is six years old physically (mentally he's still 15- thank you very much), but it's all okay. No one has died yet.
But when Eri gets sick and her quirk starts running wild, they realize they might need some outside help.
