But Megatron was never one to let his resources go to waste. He had been needing a good source of stress relief, and the plucky little Autobot was perfect.
Optimus was just so beautiful when he was broken down and helpless. He was like an ornament, a perfect addition to Megatron's collection of war spoils. And he was a good treat, only to be taken out and used for special occasions. Never shared with others, and always there when Megatron wanted him."

Optimus has become nothing but Megatron's plaything, to be taken out and used until he's too broken to function. Megatron enjoys the absolute power he holds over Optimus, almost as much as he enjoys the interfacing.

"Beckman forces his face to stay as neutral as possible. “Mohji called. Buggy's been taken.”
“Oh,” Shanks says and Beckman almost takes a step back except… there’s no haki explosion. Beckman can feel a change in the air, yes, but not the violent one he’d been expecting/fearing. “Do they know who?”
Beckman nods, “and where they’ve taken him. It’ll take us three days to get there.”
“Good,” Shanks says.
“Boss…” Beckman starts, then stops because in all the ways he imagined this conversation going, Shanks somewhat remaining calm had never crossed his mind.
Shanks, shockingly, actually gives Beckman a smile. It isn’t nearly as easy-going as usual, but it’s still real.
“He’ll be fine.”"
