   Summary

   On September 29th Ken awakens to a persona that feels wrong. With it comes a crash course on life, other people, the ability to care again, and how to find out who he is after everything that's happened.

   (This fic spends some time on the relationship between Ken and Kotone. If you view it in a romantic lens or ship it in any way, you have no business reading this fic.)

   [Also, while this fic is about transfem Ken, the earlier parts take place before her egg cracks. As such, she is referred to by he/him pronouns by herself and others during those parts of the story.
