Outmatched by an adversary who anticipates her every move, Wednesday stakes everything on a single gambit.

Enid paused briefly, her gaze locked with Wednesday's.
"...you're the best detective in Nevermore."
Wednesday slowly released her hand, the connection fading.
"That's what they say."
For some reason she couldn't explain, as she walked toward Bruno's body, those blue eyes remained engraved in her memory.
Or... Wednesday Addams investigates the mysterious death of businessman Bruno Yuson, determined to uncover the truth behind his murder. What she could never have expected was that, during the investigation, she would become involved with the very wife of the man she swore to find the killer of.
Because the universe has a peculiar way — and sometimes a cruelly amusing one — of playing with fate.

I never thought my senior year would be any different from the rest. Ever since my sister Elise passed away, everything had just felt so off. My mom was getting worse by the day, especially with the divorce starting. My dad simply decided to walk out on us after Elise's accident. And, I didn't even know if it really was an accident. Nobody was ever able to properly explain what happened to her. On top of that, I kind of stopped being myself too. After a few months, I had already accepted that things would never go back to normal. Everything only started to change when Wednesday Addams showed up. She arrived out of nowhere. Nobody knew where she came from or why. The strangest part? Wednesday seemed to know about Elise, or at least about things nobody else did. She wasn't normal or human, and she was running from someone. A cult. Vampires. I know how that sounds, but after what I saw, what I went through, I can't pretend anymore that the world is only what we see during the day. Now they are after her, and for some reason, they are after me too. I know I'm getting into things I shouldn't, but I can't ignore what is right in front of me anymore. My sister died alone, and I'm not going to let history repeat itself.

Summary
After once again being blacklisted from a normal school, Wednesday Addams is sent to Nevermore Academy - New York City. With a whole city with wonderful rooftops to clamber and explore, a group of 'allies' (no Mother, they are not 'friends'!) that she can't seem to help collecting, and increasing numbers of dissapearances to investigate, she hates to admit it. She might actually be enjoying herself. Now if she could just keep Enid's plushie collection from reaching critical mass and drowning the world in a tide of colourful eldritch abominations.
Of course there are the small matters of a ghoulish urban legend attacking her classmates, interfering police officers, crime scenes to break into, and possibly a cult to track down that Wednesday can work on. New York might actually turn into one of her favourite places after all.

She craves power and glory, but despises the triviality of her father’s plans to send her, along with those of her clan she will command, to conquer and destroy the two surrounding packs - the Sinclair and the Yusons, to expand the Addams territories.

This is my attempt at writing a season 3 fic. I began writing before the new character reveals, so none of them will be included.
Wednesday searches relentlessly for Enid to fulfil the promise she made to her, while also discovering that her feelings for Enid may go beyond just friendship. Ophelia remains a threat in the shadows that threatens to swallow Wednesday whole if she doesn't tread carefully, while Isadora Capri takes in the highly volatile Tyler Galpin. What are her intentions, and is there to more her than meets the eye? Morticia believes something is wrong after sensing her sister, and will stop at nothing until she discovers the truth. Family will work together, and family will clash. The question is, who will come out of all the chaos, and will anyone ever be the same again?

Following the Crackstone incident and the battle with the Hyde, the students of Nevermore Academy are left to pick up the pieces while the school is closed for repairs and restaffing. Wednesday has to deal with the fallout of an investigation gone awry, while Enid must deal with the consequences of wolfing out. Yoko, stuck in the school, becomes vital in Wednesday's next investigation. Divina must deal with problems at home and having her girlfriend at a distance. Forces both internal and external will guide the girls as they make their next moves in the aftermath.
Starts at the end of Season One and diverges radically from the show at that point.

A new case slides across her desk alongside a pink, werewolf idol. Nothing could be more in opposition to her dark, sardonic, nihilistic nature. She first chalks it up as a necessary evil until she realizes that Enid has wormed her way into both her life and her investigation. Wednesday now has to contend with a battle between her duty and her emotions as Enid is bent on thawing out Wednesday’s frozen heart. All the while, Enid has her own struggles since her manager was the catalyst for the whole investigation. But perhaps this new detective in her life could help her out in more ways than one.
