Summary
After the battle Bilbo returns to the Shire. Letters are exchanged, life goes on, and despite pining for each other, Thorin and Bilbo settle in their respective places.
Until one year Bilbo wakes on his birthday to find snow covering the ground and a second Fell Winter dawning upon the Shire.
A missive from the Blue Mountains reveals the predicament of the Shire to Erebor. And Thorin decides that despite the distance Erebor will help. He leads an army toward the Shire, while Bilbo struggles to protect his fellow hobbits, himself, and his young cousin Frodo from encroaching wolves and orcs so they may all survive this winter.

Summary
Hobbits had many secrets, perhaps as many as the dwarfs. But no one knew about hobbit secrets, so no one went looking for them. When Dwalin had told Bilbo of the deepest secret of dwarrow children, Bilbo had kept the deepest secret of hobbit children behind his teeth.
Note: This story is a series of vignettes and ideas. I'll probably never finish them all, but the last chapter includes a summary of what all I might have thrown in.

“Accidents”, was Bilbo’s bland reply. “Preferably about a month after the initial confrontation if they haven’t apologized yet. It helps allay suspicion.”
Tomatoes used to be considered both poisonous and an aphrodisiac. Idea- it is impossible to poison a hobbit with anything less than a morgul blade. Discuss the Company’s reaction to watching Bilbo eat ‘poisonous’ things. Extra credit if dwarves actually believe salad will kill them.

Hobbits are not what the others races believe. Crafted by the Valar and blessed with inherited magics called knacks, Hobbits have been ensuring the peace between the Free Peoples for a long time. No one else knows and Hobbits are content to keep it that way. However, years ago Shire life was disrupted by the marriage of Gerontius Took to Adamanta Chubb, originally known as the dragon Arradeth. Years later Bilbo Baggins is paying the price of being an odd hobbit, having inherited both Took and Baggins knacks along with his grandmother’s blood, and is the only one of her line to also have a dragon form. Now Gandalf the Grey is once again in need of a hobbit for an adventure and Bilbo must decide. Should he accompany the wizard and his group, face a dragon, and risk revealing Shire and family secrets? Or does he abandon his people’s sacred purpose and allow a stubborn king to send part of Middle Earth into war? Not to mention that if Bilbo does go he risks not only his life, but losing his dragon Heart to a band of suicidal dwarves. Either way, the choice of Bilbo Baggins may rule the fate of all Middle Earth.Series

Summary
The Dwarves of Ered Luin are struggling greatly, so they send out most of the craftsmen to find work. In a last ditch effort, Thorin Oakenshield, son of Thrain, leads his company to the Shire. He does not expect what he finds there. Will he find new allies to help him solve the terrible sicknesses that plague the dwarves? Can the hobbits learn to care about the outside world enough to help? Can dwarves learn trust to another race again? Can Thorin give his people the home they deserve?
This features the whole company and does have a great deal of peril related to starvation, sickness, and racism. I will try to tag anything potentially triggering. Also, Belladonna Took totally becomes shipper trash.

Thorin's sickness grows worse by the hour and the company sees only one way out: they have to shock Thorin out of the goldsickness by faking the death of one of his closest companions - Bilbo.
What they didn't know is that Bilbo was Thorin's soulmate and his 'death' causes a lot of grief, angst, confusion and guilt.

Summary
Bilbo Baggins is a simple hobbit, and enjoys all type of absolutely normal hobbity things. He doesn't like adventures, eats all seven meals a day like he's supposed to, and most certainly acts respectably (he is a Baggins after all, no matter those occasional Tookish tendencies). And, like all creatures of Middle Earth, he has a mark, a tattoo of sorts, that will help him find his soul mate. But when he moves to an eastern hobbit settlement with his young nephew Frodo, he finds something extraordinary. Bilbo never expected to find his soul mate, and he certainly did not believe it would be a dwarf by the name of Thorin.

Summary
Three years after the Battle of the Five Armies, a heartsick and abandoned Bilbo comes across a Dwarf merchant selling jewellery in the local markets. It is then that he discovers that Kili ... now betrothed to Crown Prince Fili ... has been captured by Saurons minions and is being held for ransom within Mordor itself. The price for his return? The Arkenstone and the head of the King Under the Mountain.
Bilbo is summoned to Rivendell for a meeting of the Elves about the destiny of Middle Earth now that their enemy has regained his strength. It is then that he discovers that he alone carries, within his pocket, the one thing that can save Kili's life and indeed the lives of all in Middle Earth.
Or the story in which Bilbo travels to Mordor to save Kili from Sauron.

Frodo was a very determined little hobbit so when his Uncle Bilbo runs off on adventure with a bunch of dwarfs he is not about to be left behind. The consequences of this rash decision though have more far reaching effects then the little hobbit could ever imagine.
