Summary
After surviving a brutal kidnapping and killing his abductor, Terrence Blake forces them to relocate to North Denver, hoping the distance will Finney rid the trauma.
His father promises Finney and Gwen that he’s done with drinking and his abusive behaviour. His promise ends up breaking and he ends up worse than before.
Starting over seems to be great for Finney so far. At his new school Finney finds himself a group that he fits into perfectly, he's slowly becoming the person he was before the Grabber. That it is until tragedy strikes.
Luckily Gwen is there for him, but even she begins to drift away from him as she gains new friends and popularity.

After Will Byers is recovered from the Upside-down he and his family move to California, but a series of unfortunate events leads to Will and Jonathan separated, with Will ending up in Denver, Colorado. In the prosses, he losses contact with everyone, but what happens when Hopper manages to track him down after 3 years and invites him back to Hawkens, not knowing what kind of new baggage he has in store for them.

Summary
Will Byers is found after the Upside Down. Joyce thinks the worst is over.
She’s wrong.
Lonnie Byers calls CPS, claiming Joyce is an unfit mother. The system believes him. Will is taken from Hawkins and sent to Denver with his father, now calling himself Terrence Blake, his new wife Hope, and his daughter Gwen. His name is changed to Finney Blake, and Hawkins is erased from his life.
Terrence is still abusive. Still cruel. Still dangerous. But Hope never tries to replace Joyce, and Finney finds something he hasn’t felt in a long time: safety.
In Denver, Finney makes friends, boys who understand fear and survival all too well. Then they start disappearing.
Finney survives the Grabber and the black phone, only to be dragged back to Hawkins, separated from Gwen, and forced into silence. No one knows what happened in Denver.
Until a tape labeled The Black Phone appears.
Set post–Season 4. The Byers never moved to California.
